I am so grateful to dr Abuzoda and his team. I had an emergency c-section due to irregular heart beats of my baby at 36+1 weeks. Dr Abuzoda offered me reassurance and empathy and explained the procedures in advance. He made me feel confident when I was so scared and with a lot of incertitude about having a premature baby and what was happening with her little heart. Very professional and with a great sense of humour. I would also like to say a special thank you to Gianina Copae (Scrub Nurse part of his team)...such a gentle and kind person, she staid next to me during the whole procedure, she was explaining me the steps of the surgery and made me feel everything was ok during such a challenging time for me. I highly recommend Dr Abuzoda and his team, as I was told...I will tell you further...you are in very good hands! Compliments to you all...such big hearts and very professional :)

Mr Abuzoda has been treating me for Endometriosis and performed my Hysterectomy in May. He always listened to me, made sure I understand all my options and took my concerns into account with my treatments. He was caring, kind and always respected me. I would definitely recommend him for your care.

Mr Abuzoda made me feel very relaxed from the first moment I met him. He was very down to earth, had a good sense of humour, and explained clearly what was going to happen with my procedure. He did a great job in my view and I would recommend him to anyone with prolapse problems. I would also like to thank his secretary who helped to make everything go so smoothly.

'A good doctor treats the disease, a great doctor treats the patient who has the disease' After many years of not being able to live my life like a want to, I finally found Dr Abuzoda who has started me on a journey of being able to plan my life again. For many years I've suffered with heavy bleeding, pain and constant fear of being embarrassed in public in case I soiled my clothes. Other colleagues in Dr Abuzoda's department carried out failed ablations and used hormonal treatments to manage my condition all of which failed. I kept getting told loose weight, we can't perform any kind of surgery unless you loose weight. Well trying to loose weight when you are anemic, loosing blood with no rest bite proves really difficult. It's not that you don't have the motivation as you want to be well, you don't have the energy. I was so humiliated by one of Mr Abuzoda's colleagues during a previous gynecological procedure, that I had lost faith in ever being well. When I pleaded with my GP earlier this year to make everything stop, he referred me to Mr Abuzoda. When I walked in to my first appointment, I was greeted with a smile and for the first time I was actively listened to. No interruption, just listening...........and more listening. We agreed on a treatment and he actioned a scan to confirm my many large fibroids. During the weeks before my total hysterectomy the request for pre op injections from my GP were causing more bleeding. After a phone call to Mr Abuzoda's secretary he asked me to come to an emergency appointment the following morning, He said he had to do a biopsy as there were no results on record. The humiliating procedure I mentioned earlier was a biopsy, I was told the results were clear but it transpired there wasn't enough taken to be tested and results were inconclusive. Thank goodness Mr Abuzoda had spotted this and acted. He also prescribed medications which helped with the bleeding before the op. Thank you So the day came for my life changing operation and I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted putting me at total ease. I knew the operation was going to be challenging due to my large size but Mr Abuzoda made me feel safe. The operation wasn't easy and I did loose lots of blood. I stayed 3 nights in the hospital and I saw Mr Abuzoda every morning.....we chatted loads and again he listened. Just one thing Mr Abuzoda is direct but great with it.......he's funny, charming and genuine but he will tell you what you need to know without you realising he's being direct until after the conversation. That's a great art! As a CEO of a large charity I thought I had that to a fine art, but Mr Abuzoda is a master! I write this review 3 weeks post operation ( I had a blip this week and Mr Abuzoda again invited me in to the emergency clinic to sort it out after one phone call to his secretary) Overall after this kind of major surgery things are going well, I'm looking forward to being pain free and wearing white clothes! I'm also for the first time in many years looking forward to being able to go to events without checking my clothes every 5 mins. I won't be keeping an emergency bag of clothes in the car anymore! As soon as I am fully recovered I'm joining a gym and have pledged to loose half my weight within 12 months which I know now I can without worrying about my previous issues. I have my final appointment in the middle of August when I know Mr Abuzoda will discharge me from his care back to my GP. They say people come in to your life for a reason, I truly believe that, for the last few months he's been there and I will be sad to say goodbye to him on my discharge. With best wishes, Batul D.

Mr Abuzoda has completely changed my life. He recommended the produce I had (womb ablation) and I wish I had listened to him sooner. He understood my reservations and we tried a different treatment before ( hormone treatment) but this was unsuccessful. I went into the Fitzwilliam Hopsital for my operation and was in and out in the same day. The operation was a huge success and my quality of life has improved so much. I feel so much better in myself. I cannot thank him and the staff enough for their excellent care.
